The Vacancy
We are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day running of construction sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the required standards.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for coordinating site teams and subcontractors, managing labour, plant and materials, and ensuring all works are completed in accordance with design, quality, health and safety, and regulatory requirements.
Working closely with Site Agents, Project Managers and other stakeholders, you will monitor progress, resolve issues as they arise, maintain accurate site records and drive productivity, whilst maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and compliance.
Please note: The contractual location for this role can be Falmer or Chatham. Our projects are based across Kent, Sussex and Hampshire, and you will be required to travel to and attend sites within these areas on a daily basis. The contractual hours for this position are 45 hours per week.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced and confident Site Supervisor with a background in water, wastewater or utilities construction.
You will ideally have:
Proven experience supervising construction sites within the water/wastewater or utilities sector.
A track record of safely delivering works on time, to specification and in accordance with project requirements.
Strong leadership, organisation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage site teams, subcontractors and other stakeholders.
Good working knowledge of health and safety, quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Hands-on site experience, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
Experience with planning, reporting, site documentation and digital site management systems.
Relevant industry qualifications, including SMSTS, NRSWA Supervisor and First Aid, alongside any other appropriate safety and operational certifications.
What You'll Be Doing
As Site Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
Managing the day-to-day activities on site and coordinating site teams and subcontractors.
Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with approved designs and specifications.
Managing labour, plant, materials and resources to support programme and productivity requirements.
Monitoring progress and reporting on site performance.
Identifying and resolving site issues and escalating matters where appropriate.
Maintaining accurate site records, documentation and reports.
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
Supporting Site Agents and Project Managers with the successful delivery of projects.
Promoting a positive safety culture and maintaining high standards across the site.
