Schools across Aylesbury, Milton Keynes and nearby regions are seeking confident, adaptable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support learning across Key Stages 3 to 5. This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop classroom experience, support pupil progress and gain exposure prior to teacher training.

Responsibilities

Lead classroom sessions in the absence of the class teacher

Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and maintain student focus

Create a positive and well-managed learning environment

Support pupils with their learning and engage them in tasks

Uphold school behaviour policies and expectations

Essential & Desirable Attributes

Experience working with young people or in education (desirable, not essential)

Strong behaviour management and confident communication

Adaptability across subjects and age groups

QTS or teaching experience beneficial but not required

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)

Ability to provide two years of references
