Aspire People are recruiting experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary schools. We have opportunities available for candidates looking for long-term positions, daily supply, or a role that could lead to a permanent opportunity.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced HLTA who is confident taking responsibility for learning, supporting teachers, and working with pupils across different year groups.
The Role:
* Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
* Delivering lessons, interventions and small-group activities
* Providing PPA and class cover where required
* Supporting pupils with SEND and additional needs
* Helping to manage behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
* Working alongside class teachers and senior leaders
* Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback
* Taking responsibility for the classroom when required
The Ideal Candidate:
* Holds an HLTA qualification or has strong equivalent experience
* Recent experience working within a UK primary school
* Confident leading learning and supporting whole classes
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Good understanding of the primary curriculum
* Flexible, reliable and confident working across different year groups
