We are currently looking for an experienced Fire Stopper to work on a busy construction project.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out fire-stopping works to ensure penetrations and service openings are properly sealed and compliant with project requirements.
Duties
* Installing fire-stopping systems around service penetrations
* Sealing gaps around pipes, cables and other building services
* Applying fire-rated sealants and other approved fire-stopping materials
* Carrying out fire-stopping remedial works
* Working from drawings and site specifications
* Ensuring works are completed to a high standard
* Maintaining accurate records where required
* Working safely and keeping the work area clean and tidy
Requirements
* Valid CSCS card
* Proven experience as a Fire Stopper
* Previous construction/site experience
* Good knowledge of fire-stopping systems and materials
* Relevant fire-stopping qualifications or manufacturer training preferred
* Own tools and PPE
* Good attention to detail
* Reliable and professional approach
Fire Stopping experience is essential for this position.
