How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Role: Full-Time Admin Assistant

    Location: Rotherham/Sheffield Border

    Contract Type: Temporary

    Start Date: ASAP

    Duration: Ongoing

    Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm

    Trust Education are currently recruiting for a committed and organised Full-Time Admin Assistant to join a specialist SEND provision on the Rotherham/Sheffield border. This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm, starting ASAP on an ongoing temporary basis.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administrator who is looking to work within a supportive and specialist educational environment, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the provision.

    The Role

    You will provide effective administrative support to the school and wider staff team, assisting with the organisation and coordination of daily school activities.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of administrative duties, including maintaining accurate records, responding to emails and telephone enquiries, supporting staff with paperwork and documentation, and assisting with the general running of the school office.

    You will work closely with staff, pupils and families, so excellent communication skills, professionalism and a calm and approachable manner are essential.

    The Ideal Candidate Will:

    Have previous administrative or office-based experience

    Ideally have experience working within a school, education or SEND setting

    Have excellent organisational and time-management skills

    Be confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Office

    Have strong written and verbal communication skills

    Be professional, approachable and able to work effectively as part of a team

    Be able to manage confidential information appropriately

    Have a calm and patient approach when working in a SEND environment

    Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
