We’re working with a highly regarded wealth management business in Marlow that is looking to appoint a Financial Planning Team Leader. This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished Financial Planner to take on a key leadership position while remaining actively involved with clients.
The role offers a genuine blend of people management and financial planning, with approximately half your time dedicated to leading and developing a team of Financial Planners and the remainder focused on managing relationships with a select portfolio of High-Net-Worth clients.
Role & Responsibilities: 📋
- Leading, coaching and developing a team of Financial Planners
- Conducting regular 1-2-1s and structured development meetings
- Supporting less experienced advisers as they progress within the business
- Helping advisers improve productivity, capacity and overall performance
- Maintaining consistently high standards of financial advice and client outcomes
- Overseeing adviser development through appropriate Training & Competence frameworks
- Identifying opportunities to improve advice processes, efficiency and consistency
- Using management information to understand performance and identify areas for improvement
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across Compliance, Operations, HR, Growth and Proposition
- Helping the business plan for future adviser recruitment, development and succession
- Managing your own portfolio of established HNW clients
- Providing holistic financial planning across areas including investments, pensions and protection
Do you have the following to apply? ✅
- Chartered Financial Planner status
- At least 5 years' experience as an Independent Financial Adviser
- Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, protection and wider financial planning
- Experience working with HNW clients and more complex planning requirements
- Previous experience of managing, coaching or mentoring Financial Planners
