Fancy putting your toxicology expertise to work on projects that actually shape regulatory and safety decisions?
We're helping our client find an experienced Toxicologist to join their team, turning complex data into clear, defensible assessments that support regulatory submissions and risk management. The role is fully remote, with one weekend in five on call (extra pay for this — and in practice, calls are rare).
What you'll be doing:
Evaluating toxicological, epidemiological and mechanistic data
Deriving points of departure (NOAEL/LOAEL, BMD) and health-based guidance values (ADI, TDI, RfD, DNEL)
Reviewing toxicology reports and writing literature reviews and summaries
Running human health risk assessments for chemicals in environmental media
Applying EFSA, ECHA, US EPA, WHO/IPCS guidance (or equivalent)
Explaining complex science clearly to technical and non-technical audiencesWhat you'll bring:
Degree in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Biological Sciences or similar (MSc/PhD preferred)
At least 3 years' experience as a toxicologist
Proven track record deriving PODs and health-based guidance values
Strong grasp of risk assessment and regulatory toxicology
Great scientific writing skills
