How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Company Description WSCS Global is a supplier of high-quality packaging and consumable products for the food and retail markets, aiming to operate at a world-class standard. The organization leverages cost-efficient manufacturing bases to deliver affordable products paired with tailored, robust, ethical, and fully traceable supply chain solutions. By thinking globally and acting locally, WSCS Global focuses on consistently adding value to customers’ businesses and supporting their growth. Team members join an environment that values accountability, reliability, and partnership with customers.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Human Resources Business Partner role based in Hartlebury (Near Kidderminster). The HR Business Partner will collaborate closely with managers and team members to provide strategic HR support, including advising on HR policies, performance management, and employee relations. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling employee queries, guiding leaders on labour and employment law compliance, supporting recruitment and onboarding, and contributing to workforce planning and organizational development. The role also involves coaching managers on best practices, managing HR projects and initiatives, and maintaining accurate HR records and documentation. The HR Business Partner will work to foster an inclusive, engaging workplace culture that aligns with WSCS Global’s values and business objectives.

    Salary & Package

£45,000–£55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

    Qualifications

    • Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Policies, with experience implementing and maintaining HR procedures and frameworks.
    • Proficiency in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, engagement initiatives, and supporting a positive workplace culture.
    • Knowledge of Labour and Employment Law, with the ability to ensure compliance and provide guidance to managers and team members.
    • Experience in Performance Management, including goal setting, feedback processes, and supporting development plans.
    • Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization.
    • Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and lead HR projects from planning through implementation.
    • Proficiency with HRIS and MS Office or similar tools; experience in manufacturing, packaging, or related sectors is an advantage.
    • Relevant professional qualification or degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; CIPD or equivalent certification is beneficial.

Why Join WSCS? WSCS is a growing international business, and this role offers the opportunity to have a genuine influence on how our people function develops as we scale.

Rather than stepping into a heavily established HR structure, you will have the opportunity to help shape processes, develop managers and build a people framework that supports the next phase of the business.

If you enjoy combining hands-on HR with longer-term organisational development, we would be very interested in hearing from you.
