Blue Legal is partnering with a leading law firm to recruit a Facilities Supervisor to support the day-to-day operational management of its offices. Working closely with the Facilities Manager, the successful candidate will supervise local facilities teams, oversee building services and contractors, and ensure a consistent, efficient and high-quality facilities service across multiple locations.
The Responsibilities:
- Supervise the day-to-day activities of local facilities teams, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and that operational responsibilities are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Conduct regular site inspections, ensuring offices, equipment and facilities are appropriately maintained, with any issues resolved or escalated to the Facilities Manager where required.
- Manage and coordinate contractors and building service providers, monitoring works, service levels and property-related requirements across assigned locations.
- Support lifecycle maintenance, energy management, carbon reduction and environmental initiatives while ensuring compliance with relevant policies and legislation.
- Act as a key point of contact for employees across assigned offices, responding to facilities queries and supporting operational issues across multiple sites.
- Maintain strong Health & Safety standards, supporting risk assessments, fire safety requirements and wider compliance activities where required.
- Monitor facilities performance and expenditure, producing management reports, approving invoices and identifying opportunities to improve service quality and cost efficiency.
The Candidate:
- Previous facilities management or supervisory experience within a similar environment, ideally with responsibility for multiple sites; soft services experience is essential.
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and welfare regulations, with IOSH and/or NEBOSH qualifications desirable, alongside excellent organisational and team leadership skills.
- A full driving licence and the ability to travel regularly between assigned office locations is essential.
