How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Title: Administrator

    Department: Swale CYPMHS (Children and Young People's Mental Health Services)

    Duration: This is a temporary role, and it is currently due to last until 31st December 2026

    Location: Seashells Childrens Centre, Rose Street, Sheerness, Kent, ME12 1AW

    Working Pattern: 22.5 - 37.5 hours per week
    3 - 5 days between Mon – Fri
    Any hours between 9am – 5pm

    Pay Banding: Band 3 – £12.75 per hour

    Trust: Kent and Medway Mental Health NHS Trust

    The postholder must have the following experience:

    High-quality admin services are vital for ensuring the smooth running of our service; you can expect your days to be full of variety and challenge - some of the responsibilities for the role are listed below:

    · Data entry e.g. inputting of information such as new referrals, results of tests or questionnaires

    * Check relevant systems e.g. RiO for clinic appointment lists

    * Liaising with other internal departments

    * Photocopying

    * Preparation of variety of documents and correspondence from digital dictation or notes

    * Printing information in spreadsheet or report format as required

    * Likely to process confidential information

    * Laminating of posters or reports and binding as appropriate

    * Booking of appointments

    * Communicating with patients, families & professionals via telephone
