How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Maintenance Team Leader
    Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
    £72,225 – Including Shift Allowance
    3 on 3 off Days/Nights

    We are looking for a multi-skilled maintenance team leader with a proven background in food/beverage manufacturing to join our fast-paced manufacturing facility in Milton Keynes. As a business, we have over 10 UK locations with an annual turnover well in excess of £400m, which we have reinvested into the plant.

    Our facility is only 12 years old, with lots of brand-new state-of-the-art machinery, with plenty of land to expand onto with plans to nearly triple capacity over the next 5 years. Our process is fully automated with lots of technical aspects and varied work on a day-to-day basis.

    Role Responsibilities include but not limited to

    Ensuring adherence to all health and safety procedures and policies at all times
    Lead a team of 4 shift engineers including performance management and reviews, and operational handovers
    Lead engineering/maintenance activities across the shift including asset performance to maximise OEE, continuous improvement, breakdown resolution via RCA.
    Identifying skill gaps within your team and delivering structured training plans to maximize capability of the team
    Experience required

    Proven prior experience as a maintenance/engineering team leader from a food/beverage manufacturing environment is essential for this role
    Qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 / HNC/D in a maintenance/engineering related discipline
    Proven leadership experience leading a midsized team in an industrial environment
