Pay: £160–£251 per day (dependent on experience)

Are you a dedicated and resilient SEMH Teacher looking to make a lasting impact on the lives of young people?
We are partnering with a number of specialist schools across Staffordshire to recruit passionate SEMH Teachers for roles starting in September 2026.
These schools support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as those with Autism (ASC), ADHD, attachment difficulties, trauma-related needs and challenging behaviour. You'll play a vital role in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning, build confidence and achieve their full potential.
The Role
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
* Create a safe, structured and nurturing classroom environment.
* Support pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour and personal development.
* Build strong, positive relationships that promote trust and engagement.
* Work closely with Teaching Assistants, pastoral teams, therapists and parents to provide holistic support.
* Monitor pupil progress and implement strategies to improve outcomes.
We're Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Experience working with pupils with SEMH, SEND or challenging behaviour is desirable.
* Excellent behaviour management and communication skills.
* A patient, empathetic and resilient approach.
* A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people.
