Our customer designs and manufactures specialist electronic and computing solutions used in demanding environments. Due to ongoing product development activity, they require an experienced Contract NPI Engineer to support the validation and introduction of new products into manufacturing.
The successful Contract NPI Engineer will be responsible for managing NPI activities from prototype and pilot build stages through to manufacturing release. This will include developing work instructions, supporting prototype builds, creating tooling and fixtures, validating manufacturing processes, and working closely with engineering, quality and production teams.
Key Skills Required - Contract NPI Engineer - Electro Mechanical:
Proven experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) within an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment
Experience taking products from prototype or pilot build through to manufacturing release
Strong electro-mechanical assembly, testing and troubleshooting experience
Experience producing manufacturing documentation including work instructions, tooling and process documentation
This role has an indicative OUTSIDE IR35 determination therefore we can accept candidates who would like to operate through their own PSC.
