Vehicle Technician – Cheltenham

We are recruiting for experienced Master Technicians, Diagnostic Technicians, Senior Vehicle Technicians, Service Technicians and PDI Technicians to join a busy main dealership in Cheltenham. Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent (Level 2 considered for PDI Technicians), hold a Full UK Manual Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK.

Location: Cheltenham
Salary: £36,932 – £51,739 basic
OTE: £40,000 – £56,000+
Hours: 45 hours per week, including weekends on a rota

Carry out servicing, maintenance, warranty and vehicle repair work
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical vehicle faults
Complete mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repairs to required standards
Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve technical issues
Complete inspections and ensure vehicles meet required safety standards
Support other Vehicle Technicians with diagnostics and technical issues where appropriate
Maintain high standards of workmanship, efficiency and Health & SafetyVehicle Technician Requirements
Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair through IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent
Level 2 qualification considered for PDI Technician positions
Previous experience as a Master Technician, Diagnostic Technician, Senior Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Technician, Service Technician or PDI Technician
Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge relevant to your Technician level
Full UK Manual Driving Licence
