How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    A sector-leading manufacturer has won a number of significant, long-term programmes and is now looking to appoint a Continuous Improvement Engineer to join its team to drive improvements across the business. Working closely with the Continuous Improvement Manager, you will identify and implement opportunities to enhance quality, efficiency and productivity, supporting the ongoing development of processes and operational performance.

    The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a process improvement role within a fast-paced manufacturing or engineering environment.

    The Role

    Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities across the business.

    Analyse processes and performance data to identify waste, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.

    Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement activities.

    Assist with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

    Develop and implement process improvements.

    Monitor the effectiveness of improvements and report on results.

    Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams.

    Promote a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving.

    About you

    Experience in a manufacturing, engineering or operational environment.

    Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement techniques.

    Six Sigma training preferred.

    Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

    Good communication and teamwork skills.

    The ability to work independently and manage multiple improvement activities.

    A proactive approach and the confidence to challenge existing processes constructively
