The Role
As a General Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting the class teacher and helping pupils get the most out of their school day.
This is a busy and rewarding role, where no two days are the same. You'll be expected to:
Support the class teacher with the day-to-day running of the classroom.
Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils where required.
Help pupils engage with their learning and build confidence.
Support children and young people with a range of learning needs.
Promote positive behaviour and help manage challenging behaviour calmly and effectively.
Create a positive, safe and inclusive classroom environment.
Assist with classroom activities and preparation of learning resources.
Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents/carers.
Encourage pupils to develop their independence, confidence and social skills.What We're Looking For
We're looking for Teaching Assistants who are:

Confident supporting pupils with challenging behaviour.
Passionate about helping children and young people succeed.
Able to work effectively as part of a team.
Flexible and adaptable in a busy school environment.
Professional and enthusiastic in their approach.
Level 2 or Level 3 qualified in Teaching, Learning and Support (or an equivalent relevant qualification).Essential Requirements
To work with our schools, you will need to be able to provide:
Professional references covering your last 2 years of work and/or education history.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or a willingness to apply for and purchase an Enhanced DBS.
The right to work in the UK.
