About the Role
We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Early Years setting in Oxfordshire.
You will support children with their learning, development and daily routines, helping to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment in line with the EYFS. This role would suit an experienced Early Years professional who is passionate about supporting young children and building positive relationships.
Key Responsibilities

Support children’s learning and development through engaging activities

Assist with EYFS-based activities and daily routines

Support communication, social and emotional development

Help with meals, personal care and transitions

Observe and record children’s progress
*
Promote positive behaviour and independence
*
Maintain a safe and stimulating environment

Work closely with the nursery team and families
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
*
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years or equivalent
*
Previous nursery or Early Years experience
*
Good understanding of the EYFS
*
Caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
*
Strong communication and teamwork skills
*
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
*
Right to Work in the UK
Desirable:
*
Experience working with children aged 0–5
*
Paediatric First Aid
*
Experience supporting children with additional needs
