Occupational Therapy Skills Needed

Are you an Occupational Therapist, OT graduate or therapy professional looking to apply your skills in a school setting? Protocol Education is seeking a compassionate 1:1 SEND Support Assistant to support a Reception pupil within a primary school in the Fawdon area.

What You'll Be Doing:
* Supporting a Reception pupil throughout the school day.
* Assisting the child to access learning and classroom activities.
* Encouraging independence and confidence within daily routines.
* Supporting sensory, social and emotional development.
* Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff.
Who We're Looking For
* Occupational Therapists, OT graduates or therapy assistants.
* Individuals with knowledge of child development and SEND.
* Professionals who can adapt support to meet individual needs.
* Caring and patient individuals who enjoy working with young children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
