About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced teachers and support staff, gaining practical experience while completing your apprenticeship training.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting pupils in the classroom and during school activities.
* Working with individual pupils and small groups to support their learning.
* Helping pupils develop their confidence, communication and independence.
* Supporting children with additional learning needs, including SEND.
* Preparing and setting up classroom activities and resources.
* Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement.
* Building positive relationships with pupils and staff.
* Supporting the teacher with day-to-day classroom activities.
* Following school policies and safeguarding procedures.
