How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    SEN Secondary English Teacher – Maidstone
    Are you a Qualified Teacher with experience teaching English at Secondary level?
    Do you have experience working with SEN students, or are you a mainstream teacher looking for a new and rewarding challenge?
    Create Education are currently looking for a qualified, experienced and passionate SEN Secondary English Teacher to work within a specialist SEN school based in Maidstone.
    The school provides a supportive, inclusive and engaging learning environment for students with a range of special educational needs. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team of teaching and support staff who are committed to helping every student achieve their potential.
    The school is currently looking for a high-quality Secondary English Teacher who is passionate about education and wants to make a genuine difference to the lives of young people with additional needs.

    SEN Secondary English Teacher
    Specialist SEN School
    Teaching English to Secondary-aged students
    Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated and accessible English lessons
    Supporting students to develop their literacy, communication and confidence
    Working with students with a range of additional needs
    Adapting lessons and resources to meet individual student needs
    Working closely with teaching assistants and wider support staff

    At least 1 year's teaching experience within a school
