Trade Counter Supervisor
Salary: Negotiable
Hours: Monday to Friday 6:30am to 4:30pm, alternative Saturdays 7:00am to 4:00pm

Join the team of a well-established, family-owned builders’ merchant. We're looking for a friendly and knowledgeable Hardware Counter Supervisor to provide excellent customer service and ensure the smooth running of this busy trade counter.

Responsibilities:
* Provide a warm, professional welcome to all customers, offering knowledgeable advice and assistance.
* Manage in-store deliveries, both incoming and outgoing.
* Handle telephone enquiries promptly and communicate effectively with both customers and team members.
* Process customer orders and assist with stock replenishment.
* Respond positively and efficiently to customer requirements.
* Support periodic stock counts as needed.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in delivering exceptional customer service
* A ‘can do’ attitude
* Strong knowledge of hardware products and building materials
* Good communication skills with a confident, customer-first approach
* A team player who thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment
* Ability to manage tasks efficiently and remain motivated under pressure
