How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Excellent Career Development Opportunities

A recognised leader in the design and manufacture of advanced electrical measurement and monitoring solutions, supporting customers across a wide range of industrial and power system applications. As part of continued investment in innovation and product development, we are seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join our growing Research & Development team.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, sales, marketing and group R&D functions to introduce innovative technologies and maintain the brands technical leadership within the market. The role offers involvement in cutting-edge product development, technology evaluation, product compliance, and continuous improvement activities.

You will also be responsible for ensuring products comply with current and emerging industry standards, supporting patent and intellectual property activities, creating Bills of Materials and work instructions for new product introductions, and providing technical support following product launch. In addition, you may supervise project team members and contribute to training and knowledge sharing across the organisation.

We are looking to speak with ambitious Electronics Engineers who have a strong foundation in analogue and electronic design and who are passionate about developing innovative products that meet real customer needs. This role would suit an engineer looking to make a significant contribution within a collaborative and technology-focused environment.

Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively within cross-functional teams

    Highly Desirable

Further qualification in a relevant engineering discipline

Detailed knowledge of analogue electronic design

    Strong understanding of electromagnetism

Opportunity to work on innovative new technology and product development projects

Involvement across the complete product development lifecycle

    Collaborative and supportive engineering environment

Ongoing professional development and training opportunities

The chance to influence future product strategy and technological advancement
