The Role
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, working alongside teachers and specialist staff to help pupils achieve their goals.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Delivering high-quality learning activities for individuals, small groups, and whole classes when required.
* Supporting teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and assessment.
* Leading lessons in the absence of a teacher, ensuring pupils remain engaged and supported.
* Delivering targeted interventions that help pupils develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
* Supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs to access learning and achieve success.
* Building positive relationships that encourage confidence, independence, and resilience.
* Working closely with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure every pupil receives the support they need.
