Buyer / Procurement Specialist
Leicester (around 15-20 mins from J21 Leicester Forest Junction M1)
£25.50 FCSA Umbrella (this role is deemed inside IR35), £18.75 paye – Fully Office Based Mon – Fri 5 days pw

Min 12 month contract, although likely to extend

Fully Office based 5 days pw.

Specific Responsibilities

Point of contact for the procurement team, managing procurement dependencies across the manufacturing facility.
Previous experience of delivering this in a engineering manufacturing environment high advantageous.
Create the procurement strategies communicating clear cost, time and quality deliverables to key stakeholders.
Supplier nomination, ensuring robust evaluation of supplier capacity and capability.
Management reporting to evidence performance against key targets.
Weekly Reporting on outsourcing KPIs.
Contract Negotiation and Agreeing T&Cs as per Standard T&Cs procedure
Managing risks and opportunities registers.
To plan and present plan gateways as per the internal procedure
CIPS preferred or currently studying for CIPSLong term contract (12 months min, although likely to become a long term, ongoing contract)
