Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting Primary Teachers to work on a day-to-day supply basis across a range of primary schools in Wigan.
Whether you are an experienced teacher looking for greater flexibility, an ECT wanting to gain experience across different school settings or simply looking for a better work-life balance, day-to-day supply can offer the flexibility to work around your availability.
We work with a wide range of primary schools across Wigan, including schools looking for teachers to cover EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
The Role:
Work on a flexible day-to-day supply basis in primary schools across Wigan and Leigh.
Cover classes across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
Deliver engaging lessons that have been planned by the class teacher.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment.
Adapt to different schools, year groups and classroom settings.
Ensure pupils remain engaged and supported throughout the school day.
Liaise with school staff and follow the school's policies and procedures.
Opportunities for longer-term assignments may also become available.
The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
Previous experience teaching within a primary school setting.
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff and parents.
A flexible and adaptable approach.
Passionate about providing high-quality learning experiences for pupils.
Reliable, enthusiastic and committed to working in different school environments.
Requirements:
QTS or relevant teaching qualification.
Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references.
CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained.
Legal right to work in the UK.
