How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Review medical evidence and gather detailed clinical histories.
Apply clinical reasoning and professional judgement.
Produce accurate, objective reports for the Department for Work and Pensions.
No hands-on treatment or shift work. What We’re Looking For:

    Pharmacist (GPhC)
Minimum 12 months of post-registration clinical experience.
Strong clinical assessment, communication and report-writing skills.
Ability to analyse information and make evidence-based judgements. What’s On Offer?

    Salary of £40,000 – £42,000.
    Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm.
No nights, weekends or bank holidays.
    Hybrid working.
Fully paid training lasting approximately 6–12 weeks.
    Ongoing coaching and professional development.
    Annual leave plus bank holidays.
    Pension and employee benefits.
Opportunities for career progression. Important Training Information:

Training is full-time, Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, and may require attendance at the local office once or twice per week. Annual leave cannot be taken during the first six weeks of training.

Please Note: This is a clinically focused role involving detailed assessments, clinical reasoning and evidence-based report writing. Previous Functional Assessor experience is not required, but you must have relevant clinical experience and be confident documenting your professional findings.
