Key Responsibilities of Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer:
To carry out essential planned electrical and mechanical maintenance and complete necessary repairs to keep factories in good working order
Involvement in on-going process improvement throughout the factories, developing new ideas and better solutions
Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance, Inspections, Service and Repairs, hydraulic machinery, bearings, shafts, conveyor-based systems, motors, inverters, 3 phase electrics and PLC's.
Qualifications & Experience:
Applicants must hold a recognised Electrical & Mechanical Engineering qualification
BTEC ONC (minimum) in an engineering discipline.
Either NVQ L3 engineering apprenticeship (maintenance and operations engineering technician). NVQ L3 in engineering maintenance or an NVQ L3 in both electrical and mechanical engineering.
Previous experience of undertaking reactive maintenance and following PPM schedules within a manufacturing environment.
