How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Niche is a boutique talent management and creative agency working with some of the UK’s most exciting creators across fashion, beauty and lifestyle.

We pride ourselves on being personal, hands-on and community-led. Alongside talent management and brand partnerships, we create opportunities that bring together our talent, wider creator network and brands - from gifting and product launches to events, activations and creator trips.

This role has been created with growth in mind.

Initially, you’ll work closely with the wider Niche team across the day-to-day coordination of gifting, events and creator opportunities. As you build your experience and confidence, we want you to take greater ownership of these areas - developing brand and creator relationships, contributing your own ideas and eventually helping shape Niche’s wider events, gifting and community offering.

We’re looking for an Events & Gifting Assistant to join our team and support across talent gifting, creator relationships and events.

This is an exciting junior role for someone who is highly organised, proactive and immersed in the world of social media, creators and brands. We’re looking for someone who is at the beginning of their career and excited by the opportunity to learn, take on more responsibility over time and ultimately grow with Niche.

A key part of the role will be managing gifting opportunities for Niche talent, helping coordinate the large volume of gifting requests, product sends and invitations that come into the agency from brands. You’ll act as a point of contact between brands, our talent and the wider Niche team, ensuring opportunities are communicated, organised and followed through efficiently.

Alongside this, you’ll support Niche events, creator experiences, brand activations and trips, with the opportunity to become increasingly involved in the creative and strategic side of these as you develop within the role.

    Responsibilities
    • Manage incoming gifting opportunities and product send-outs for Niche talent
    • Liaise with brands and PR agencies regarding gifting requests, launches and new product releases
    • Share relevant gifting opportunities with talent and coordinate their selections
    • Collect and manage product choices, sizing, shades, delivery details and other information required by brands
    • Maintain up-to-date talent gifting information, preferences and delivery details
    • Coordinate gifting deliveries and follow up on outstanding or incorrect items where required
    • Keep the wider talent team updated on relevant gifting opportunities
    • Build strong relationships with PR agencies and brand gifting teams
    • Identify proactive gifting opportunities for talent with brands that naturally align with their content and personal brand
    • Keep gifting trackers organised and up to date
    • Monitor organic coverage from gifting where relevant
    • Support the planning and delivery of Niche events, creator experiences, brand activations and trips
    • Research venues, suppliers, concepts and potential partners
    • Assist with event timelines, budgets, logistics and run sheets
    • Build and manage creator and guest lists
    • Coordinate invitations, RSVPs and event communications
    • Manage event invitations received for Niche talent and communicate relevant opportunities to the team
    • Liaise with venues, suppliers, brands and creators ahead of events
    • Support event set-up and delivery
    • Attend events where required and help ensure everything runs smoothly on the day
    • Help ensure every Niche event and experience feels aligned with the Niche brand

We’re looking for someone who is:
    • Exceptionally organised with strong attention to detail
    • Proactive, reliable and confident taking ownership of tasks
    • Genuinely interested in influencer marketing, PR, events and the creator industry
    • Familiar with the UK creator, fashion, beauty and lifestyle landscape
    • Naturally up to date with social media, emerging creators, brands and trends
    • Confident communicating with talent, brands and PR teams
    • Warm, personable and good at building relationships
    • Strong in written communication
    • Comfortable managing lots of small moving parts at once
    • Creative and naturally full of ideas
    • Comfortable working within a small, fast-moving team
    • Keen to learn, develop and take on increasing responsibility
    • Based in or able to work from Edinburgh
    • Able to occasionally support events outside of usual working hours

Previous experience within PR, events, influencer marketing, social media or a similar environment would be beneficial, but isn’t essential. We’re much more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, potential and understanding of the industry who is excited to develop their career with us.

As Niche grows, we want this role to grow with it. For the right person, there is a real opportunity to develop into a more senior position within the agency and build a long-term career with Niche.
