Production Operative – Window Manufacturing
Location: Harworth, DN11
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Start Date: Immediate
Venatu Recruitment Group are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Harworth, DN11, who are looking for Production Operatives to join their busy window manufacturing team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on, practical work and is looking to learn new skills within a manufacturing environment.
Our client manufactures windows from scratch, and full training will be provided.
The Role – Production Operative
As a Production Operative, you will be involved in preparing and assembling windows ready for dispatch.
Your duties will include:
Preparing windows for assembly.
Using hand tools to complete various tasks.
Attaching hinges, locks and other window components.
Carrying out general production and assembly duties.
Using machinery where required.
Checking finished products for quality.
Following production instructions and processes.
Maintaining a clean and tidy working area.
Following all Health & Safety procedures.
Working as part of a busy production team.
About You
We're looking for Production Operatives who have:
A good work ethic and positive attitude.
Excellent reliability and timekeeping.
A practical and hands-on approach to work.
Previous experience using hand tools or operating machinery.
The ability to follow instructions and learn new skills.
Good attention to detail.
The ability to work as part of a team.
Previous window manufacturing experience is not essential as full training will be provided.
If you're someone who is good with your hands and has experience using hand tools or machinery, this could be an excellent opportunity to develop your skills.
Own Transport
Due to the location in Harworth, DN11 and the early 6:00am start, own transport would be preferable.
Temp to Perm Opportunity
These Production Operative positions are initially offered on a temporary basis, with a genuine temp to perm opportunity for the right candidates.
For candidates who demonstrate good attendance, reliability, a strong work ethic and the right attitude, there is an opportunity to secure a permanent position with the client.
