How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

You will have the autonomy to work from home and travel to client sites, with opportunities for international travel.
Room to grow into a Senior Health and Safety Consultant role in the future, working with clients across a range of sectors and earning over £60,000.
Opportunities for training and development, learning from experienced safety professionals as well as CPD support.
    The role will include:

Visiting client sites three to four days a week mostly in London and the South-East, with occasional visits to other UK areas.
Completing general risk assessments at retail sites, as well as working with senior colleagues to carry out Fire, PUWER and COSHH assessments.
Conducting site audits and inspections, using the company’s established techniques and templates for managing risks and building safety culture.
Supporting clients in the implementation of Health and Safety management systems.
Assisting with advising, coaching, and training of client staff.
Apply for this role if you have:

A recognised Health and Safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH General Certificate) or actively working towards this.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites across the UK.
A positive attitude and people skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with clients.
Enthusiasm for Health and Safety as a career and a passion about making a real-world difference
Good organisation skills and the ability to work autonomously
This is a fantastic development opportunity for someone with a passion for Health and Safety offering a starting salary up to £37,500, this could be the start of the next step in your career
