How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    SQL & ERP Interface Developer

    The Opportunity

    We’re looking for a motivated SQL & ERP Interface Developer to join the Group IT function of a large, international organisation undergoing significant technology transformation.

    This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career developer who wants to build hands-on experience across SQL development, ERP systems, EDI integrations, APIs and enterprise applications.

    You’ll initially focus on supporting the SQL-based integration layer behind a major ERP environment and EDI order-processing platform, helping ensure business-critical data flows reliably between customers, suppliers, partners and internal systems.

    As your experience develops, there will be opportunities to become involved in wider software development, automation, web applications and integration projects.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    * Develop and support Microsoft SQL Server databases, stored procedures, views and data-validation processes.

    * Troubleshoot and improve SQL queries, integrations and data processes.

    * Support ERP integrations, testing, deployments and system enhancements.

    * Monitor EDI transactions including EDIFACT and X12.

    * Investigate integration failures and coordinate technical fixes.

    * Support trading-partner onboarding, mapping validation and testing.

    * Work closely with business users, external partners and technology providers.

    * Contribute to the continued improvement of business-critical systems.

    As you develop within the role, you could also gain exposure to APIs, web applications, Power Platform, automation, integration architecture and AI-enabled business applications.

    What We’re Looking For

    You don’t need to have experience across every technology listed. We’re particularly interested in someone with a strong SQL foundation who is keen to develop.

    Essential experience:

    * Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.

    * Experience writing SQL queries and stored procedures.

    * Good understanding of relational databases.

    * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    * Good attention to detail.

    * Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.

    Experience in any of the following would be beneficial:

    * ERP systems such as JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.

    * EDI or B2B integrations.

    * XML, JSON, CSV or flat-file integrations.

    * APIs and system integrations.

    * HTML, CSS, JavaScript or ASP.NET.

    * SSRS report development.

    A degree, apprenticeship or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Software Development, Information Systems, Data Engineering or a related technology discipline would be advantageous.

    Who Would This Suit?

    This role would be ideal for a Junior Developer, Graduate Developer, SQL Developer or Application Support Developer who enjoys solving technical problems and wants exposure to large-scale enterprise technology.

    You’ll have the opportunity to develop a broad technical skill set rather than being restricted to one area, with potential longer-term progression into software engineering, integrations, automation or solutions architecture.

    What’s On Offer

    * Flexible / hybrid working.

    * Exposure to global ERP and integration platforms.

    * Involvement in major international technology and transformation projects.

    * Structured development and mentoring.

    * Experience across SQL, ERP, EDI, APIs and emerging technologies.

    * Clear opportunities to broaden your development skills and responsibilities.

    * Collaborative international IT environment.

    * Long-term career development within a growing technology function.

    If you’re early in your development career, have a good grounding in SQL and want an opportunity where you can learn enterprise systems while expanding into wider development technologies, we’d be keen to hear from you
