How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

The Contract Administrator provides essential support to project teams, with a primary focus on contract administration and change management across multiple projects and contracts. Working collaboratively with Project Managers and key stakeholders, this role is responsible for ensuring contract notifications, communications, and change management activities are managed accurately, consistently, and in line with contractual requirements and agreed timescales.

This role plays an important part in supporting successful project delivery through effective contract governance. The Contract Administrator will help increase visibility of project changes, support the management of risks and opportunities, and assist in ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. The position involves regular collaboration with internal stakeholders, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients, using contract administration systems such as CEMAR, alongside company-developed tools and templates.

    What you'll be doing:

    * Providing contract administration support across multiple live projects and contracts.

    * Administering and maintaining contract change management processes, ensuring changes are accurately recorded, tracked, and communicated.

    * Preparing, issuing, and monitoring contractual notifications and communications in accordance with contract requirements and project procedures.

    * Working closely with Project Managers and wider project teams to support the consistent application of contract management best practice.

    * Collaborating with internal stakeholders, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to support effective contract administration and communication.

    * Maintaining accurate contract records using electronic contract management systems, including CEMAR, and company-developed tools and templates.

    * Supporting contract compliance activities to help ensure contractual obligations, deadlines, and governance requirements are met.

    * Assisting with the identification, recording, and communication of project risks and opportunities arising from contractual matters.

    * Monitoring contract administration activities to ensure documentation is clear, accurate, and auditable.

    * Contributing to the continuous improvement of contract management and administration processes.

    About you:

We recognise that skills and experience can be gained in different ways. If you meet many, but not all, of the criteria below, we encourage you to apply.

    Essential

    * Experience in contract administration, contract change management, cost management, or a similar commercial support role.

    * Knowledge of contract administration processes and contractual communications.

    * Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

    * Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships across a range of teams and levels.

    * Ability to work independently, manage workloads proactively, and deliver high-quality outcomes within agreed timescales.

    * Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation.

    * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

    Desirable

    * Understanding of NEC and/or IChemE contracts.

    * Experience using electronic contract management software, such as CEMAR.

    * Experience within engineering, construction, infrastructure, utilities, or major project environments.

    * Commercial awareness and an understanding of project risk and opportunity management.
