Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise nursery staff, providing guidance, support, and ongoing training to ensure high-quality childcare delivery
* Oversee daily nursery activities, including lesson planning, playtime, and developmental assessments
* Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment that complies with health and safety regulations
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to share progress updates and address concerns
* Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, record-keeping, and compliance documentation
* Foster a positive team culture focused on teamwork, professional growth, and child-centered care
* Ensure all staff adhere to licensing requirements and organizational policies related to early childhood education
Experience
* Proven management experience in a childcare or nursery setting
* Extensive experience working directly with children in early childhood education or childcare roles
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team of childcare professionals
* Knowledge of nursery routines, child development milestones, and early childhood curricula
* Excellent communication skills in English for effective interaction with children, parents, and staff
* Valid driving license preferred for transporting children or attending off-site activities
* Demonstrated ability to maintain compliance with health, safety, and licensing standards
