Are you a passionate and dedicated educator looking for a new opportunity from January? Academics are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Barnet, working 5 days per week.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Chemistry Teacher who is passionate about their subject and committed to helping students develop their knowledge, confidence and enthusiasm for Science. You will become part of a supportive department and play an important role in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
The Role
Start January 2027
5 days per week
Temporary position
Daily rate of £180 - £260, depending on experience
Teach Chemistry across KS3 and KS4
Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons
Support students with different abilities and learning needs
Maintain high expectations of behaviour and achievement
Contribute to a positive and collaborative Science department
Prepare students effectively for assessments and examinations
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Chemistry Teacher with relevant UK teaching experience
Strong subject knowledge and passion for Chemistry
Experience teaching at secondary level
Confident classroom practitioner with strong behaviour management
Able to engage and inspire students across different ability levels
Committed to supporting students' academic progress
Available to work 5 days per week from January
