Academics are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Counselling Teacher in Bradford on a part-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher or experienced counselling professional who is passionate about supporting students and helping them develop their knowledge, skills and understanding within the counselling sector.
The Role
As a Counselling Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and supportive lessons to college students, helping them develop both their theoretical knowledge and practical understanding of counselling.
You will:
Plan and deliver high-quality counselling lessons
Support students in developing their knowledge and practical skills
Create an engaging, inclusive and supportive learning environment
Assess and monitor student progress
Provide constructive feedback and support students to achieve their potential
Work collaboratively with colleagues within the college
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
Relevant qualifications and/or professional experience in counselling
Teaching or training experience within further education is desirable
A passion for education and supporting young people
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to build positive relationships with students
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfareWhether you are an experienced FE teacher, a qualified counselling professional with teaching experience, or an experienced practitioner looking to move into education, we would be keen to hear from you.
