THE ROLE
As an Experienced SMART Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality SMART repairs to accident-damaged and cosmetically damaged vehicles. Working as part of a professional bodyshop team, you'll use your specialist skills to restore vehicles efficiently while maintaining excellent standards of workmanship and finish.

Key Responsibilities:
·Carry out SMART repairs to vehicle bodywork, including minor dents, scratches, scuffs and cosmetic damage
·Complete paint repairs, colour matching, blending and refinishing to a high standard
·Carry out minor plastic repairs, bumper repairs and associated cosmetic repairs where required
·Assess vehicle damage and determine the most appropriate SMART repair techniques
·Prepare surfaces effectively to achieve high-quality, seamless repair finishes
·Work closely with Panel Technicians, MET Technicians, Paint Technicians and Workshop Controllers
·Inspect completed repairs and rectify any imperfections to ensure excellent quality standards
·Follow manufacturer repair methods, Health & Safety procedures and bodyshop quality standards

ABOUT YOU
We're looking for an experienced and quality-focused SMART Technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality cosmetic repairs and has excellent attention to detail.

·Proven experience as a SMART Repair Technician within an automotive accident repair centre or bodyshop
·Strong knowledge of SMART repair techniques and cosmetic vehicle repairs
·Experience with minor dent repairs, scratch and scuff repairs, plastic repairs and bumper repairs
·Strong understanding of paint preparation, colour matching, blending and refinishing
·Ability to produce high-quality repairs with excellent attention to detail
·Good knowledge of modern vehicle bodywork and repair techniques
·Ability to work efficiently within a busy production environment while maintaining quality
·Professional, reliable and motivated approach
·Strong team player with the ability to work independently
·IMI and/or ATA qualifications advantageous
·Full UK Driving Licence preferred
