Internal Sales Executive

A leading manufacturer and distributor of industrial and infrastructure solutions is seeking an experienced Internal Sales Executive to join its busy UK sales team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused sales professional who enjoys building relationships, managing customer accounts, and supporting business growth through proactive sales activity and exceptional service. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering an outstanding customer experience while working closely with internal departments and external field sales teams.

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

Processing customer orders and ensuring timely progression through to dispatch.
Managing customer enquiries relating to products, pricing, stock availability, and deliveries.
Preparing and issuing customer quotations.
Building strong relationships with customers through regular telephone and email communication.
Supporting external sales teams with account information and quotation updates.
Coordinating transport requirements for specialist deliveries.
Resolving delivery and service issues efficiently, escalating where appropriate.
Working collaboratively with production, logistics, finance, and customer service teams.About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience in an internal sales, customer service, or sales support environment.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
Experience using CRM and order processing systems.
Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel.
A customer-first mindset and a desire to exceed expectations.
