The company is a leading business transformation partner supporting mission-critical enterprise applications across the UK defence sector. Due to expanding programme requirements, they are looking to strengthen their technical team with an ambitious SAP Developer.
The role involves acting as a key technical developer within an established application support practice. Working on a highly secure S/4HANA platform, you will develop custom enhancements, reports, interfaces, and CDS views, while debugging complex code to keep critical systems running smoothly. Rather than getting stuck on legacy systems, this role offers hands-on exposure to modern SAP development tools (such as CDS Views and modern BAdI frameworks).

The Role:
Developing and enhancing SAP S/4HANA solutions (CDS Views, BAdIs, user exits, interfaces, and forms)
Investigating, debugging, and resolving complex technical defects across the SAP landscape
Working closely with functional consultants to translate business requirements into clean technical solutions
On-site presence supporting secure defence infrastructure in the Reading area
Candidate Requirements:
Must hold active UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance
Proven hands-on SAP ABAP development experience
Exposure to modern S/4HANA development practices (CDS Views, BAdIs, or enhancement frameworks)
Strong debugging, root-cause analysis, and transport management skills
Experience collaborating with functional teams (FICO, MM, or PS)
