We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician / Multi-Skilled Engineer with an Electrical Bias to join a leading Facilities Management organisation, supporting a portfolio of high-profile commercial sites across Reading and the surrounding areas.

? What will you be doing?
You'll play a key role in keeping a range of commercial buildings safe, compliant and operating at their best.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
Electrical fault finding, repairs and remedial works.
Maintaining electrical and mechanical building services.
Working on systems including power, emergency lighting, fire alarms, BMS and associated building services.
Responding to breakdowns and engineering emergencies.
Completing minor installation and maintenance works.
Supporting larger maintenance and project works where required.
Identifying defects and ensuring remedial actions are progressed.
Working alongside specialist subcontractors when necessary.
Maintaining accurate records and updating job information.
Building strong working relationships with clients and site teams.
Ensuring all works are completed safely, professionally and within agreed SLAs/KPIs.
No two days are necessarily the same. You'll have the opportunity to work across a variety of commercial environments, tackle different technical challenges and continue developing your skills.
? What are we looking for?
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and has a strong electrical maintenance background.
Ideally, you'll have:
Level 3 Electrical Installation or Maintenance qualification, or a recognised equivalent apprenticeship.
17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
Strong electrical fault-finding and maintenance experience.
Previous experience in commercial or facilities maintenance.
Good knowledge of PPM and reactive maintenance.
A solid understanding of electrical building services and relevant British Standards.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
The ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
A reliable, professional and proactive approach.
