How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Team Horizon is seeking a Commercial Manager to Lead commercial performance across major industrial scaffolding projects, driving cost control, contract success and growth while supporting teams, clients and developing your career.

    What you will be doing:

    * The Commercial Manager has overall responsibility for the commercial management and financial performance of industrial services projects and contracts.

    * The role ensures robust cost control, contract administration, risk management and commercial governance across multiple projects while supporting profitable growth and protecting the company's commercial interests.

    * The position acts as a key business partner to operational leadership, clients and senior management, providing commercial insight and strategic support to maximise contract performance and margin delivery, and commercial leadership across the division, ensuring that projects are delivered profitably while supporting operational teams and maintaining strong client relationships.

    What you need to apply:

    * Significant Quantity Surveying experience within industrial services, construction, engineering, utilities or infrastructure sectors.

    * Experience managing large-scale contracts and complex commercial arrangements.

    * Strong contract administration and commercial negotiation skills.

    * Experience leading commercial teams and mentoring developing surveyors.

    * Proven track record of improving financial and commercial performance.

    * Qualifications and Experience Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or related discipline. Professional accreditation (RICS, SCSI or equivalent) desirable.

    * Strong understanding of construction and engineering contracts.

    * Full driving licence.
