We are currently seeking an experienced General Science Teacher with a Physics specialism to join a successful independent co-educational school in Bury.
The successful candidate will be confident teaching:
* Biology: KS3 & KS4 GCSE
* Chemistry: KS3 & KS4 GCSE
* Physics: KS3, KS4 GCSE & up to Year 12 A Level
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Science Teacher who enjoys teaching across all three Science disciplines, with particular expertise in Physics.
You will join a supportive and academically focused environment, delivering engaging and well-planned lessons while helping students achieve strong academic outcomes.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
* Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
* Has strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
* Is particularly confident teaching Physics up to A Level.
* Has experience teaching Science across KS3 and KS4.
* Has strong classroom management skills.
* Builds positive relationships with pupils.
* Is enthusiastic, reliable and passionate about Science.
* Has experience in an independent or academically focused school environment (desirable, but not essential).
