What You'll Be Doing
Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications and services
Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Analysts, and Business Stakeholders to deliver effective solutions
Contribute to architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and software best practices
Build scalable, maintainable, and secure applications using modern development methodologies
Develop and integrate APIs, microservices, and data-driven solutions
Support cloud-based and on-premise software environments
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement robust solutions
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and innovation across engineering teams
Support software deployment, monitoring, and performance optimisation
Skills & Experience
We're interested in professionals who can demonstrate experience in some of the following areas:
Commercial software development experience using C#, .NET, Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar technologies
Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services
Knowledge of SQL databases and data modelling principles
Understanding of software engineering best practices including testing and code reviews
Experience working within Agile delivery environments
Familiarity with Git and modern version control practices
Exposure to cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated deployment processes
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively within collaborative, cross-functional teams
