Key Responsibilities
Supporting goods in and goods out processes
Packaging and preparing completed projects for customers
Carrying out quality checks on finished products following training
Working from engineering drawings and completing relevant documentation
Preparing full pallet listings and keeping project records up to date
Loading and unloading vehicles using a forklift where required
Supporting stock and consumable control
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
Providing occasional cover at another local warehouse site when required
Skills & Experience
Full UK driving licence is essential
Previous experience within a yard, warehouse, steelwork or similar environment would be advantageous
Forklift licence is essential
Ability to understand engineering drawings would be beneficial, although training can be provided
Good IT skills
Comfortable carrying out some heavy lifting
Flexible and able to manage changing priorities
