How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Are you a passionate and nurturing educator ready to make a real difference? We are on the lookout for an inspiring SEN Teacher to join our welcoming, well-resourced school in Twickenham, where every day is an opportunity to change lives.

    About the Role:

    Deliver highly tailored, engaging lessons to small groups of pupils with severe and complex SEN.
    Support children with severe learning difficulties and complex additional needs.
    Create a calm, structured, positive and nurturing environment where every learner can feel safe and supported.
    Work closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists and the wider multidisciplinary team to support individual needs and EHCP outcomes.
    Adapt teaching, communication and behaviour strategies to meet individual pupil needs.
    Support pupils with developing communication, independence, social and life skills.
    Monitor progress and contribute to individualised learning and support plans. What We’re Looking For:

    Experience working with children or young people with severe and complex SEN.
    Experience supporting pupils with ASD, profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), SEMH, communication needs or complex learning needs would be advantageous.
    A calm, patient, resilient and empathetic approach to behaviour, communication and learning.
    QTS or relevant teaching qualifications preferred, although relevant SEN experience and a strong commitment to supporting pupils are highly valued. Why Join Us?
