Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 4:00pm
Pay: £14.65 per hour
We are recruiting Forklift Operatives for an immediate start at a busy distribution centre in Sharpness. This is a full-time opportunity offering excellent rates of pay and the chance to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.
Key Responsibilities of a Forklift Operative:
* Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
* Placing goods into designated storage locations
* Picking customer orders accurately
* Operating Counterbalance and/or Bendi forklift trucks
* Using RF scanners to process stock movements
* Carrying out manual handling duties, including lifting items up to 25kg
* Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment
The Successful Forklift Operative Will Have:
* A valid Counterbalance and/or Bendi Forklift Truck licence
* Previous forklift and warehouse experience
* A reliable and hardworking attitude
* Good communication skills and a good command of English
* Safety boots and a high-visibility vest (can be provided if required)
* Own transport due to the location
* Flexibility to move onto a rotating shift pattern in the future if required
