How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Electrician required

    Salary: £42,000–£45,000 basic

    Are you an experienced electrician looking to build a career in the rapidly growing EV charging industry?

    A growing electrical company is looking for an EV Electrician to join their expanding team, installing EV charging points across a range of domestic and commercial properties.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrician who wants a stable role, excellent work-life balance and genuine opportunities to develop their career within the EV sector.

    The Role

    As an EV Electrician, you will be responsible for:

    Installing EV charging points at domestic and commercial properties

    Carrying out electrical installations and testing

    Inspection, testing and certification of completed work

    Providing customers with professional advice and guidance

    About You

    You will ideally have:

    NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation

    18th Edition

    2391 Inspection & Testing or be willing to get this with support. 

    Previous electrical installation experience

    EV charging experience is advantageous, but not essential

    A full UK driving licence

    A professional approach when dealing with customers

    The ambition to develop your skills and progress within the company

    EV qualifications and additional training will be paid for, making this an excellent opportunity for an electrician looking to specialise in EV charging.
