Due to continued business growth, our client is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Water Hygiene / Water Treatment Operations Manager to oversee regional contracts and teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong work history of managing engineers and office teams in a positive and proactive manner. Experience / Qualifications:
* Proven experience as an Operations Manager within a Water Hygiene / Water Treatment outfit
* Able to confidently lead teams of site and office staff
* Ideally will hold industry-related qualifications / training
* Robust technical knowledge, including: HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Good literacy and numeracy skills
* Proficient in using IT software
The Role:
* Overseeing regional operations across Water Hygiene and Water Treatment contracts
* Managing a team of engineers, ensuring works are completed within agreed scope and timeframes
* Carrying out competency checks and training across all internal staff
* Liaising with the administrative team to coordinate projects, ensure materials are ordered and assist with onboarding processes
* Meeting with clients to discuss contractural performance and handle any enquiries
* Ensuring effective planning and work allocation
* Organising training for team members
* Working closely with the quality / technical team to investigate and resolve any safety issues
* Running regular company meetings
* Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
* Upselling of further company services
* Completing regular technical service and progress reports
