Salary - £40,000 - £50,000 DOE + £5,000 - £15,000 OTE +
Hybrid/Electric Car or £400 car allowance, plus Life Insurance, 5% Pension Contribution, Company Credit Card, Laptop & Mobile Phone
This is a newly created role and represents a genuine investment into the continued growth of the business. They are looking for a high performing Business Development Manager who thrives on winning new business, opening new accounts and developing long-term commercial relationships.
The Role
Drive new business across the UK also dependent on location.
Achieve a new business target of around £250,000
Target local businesses with a typical spend of around £25,000 - £40,000
Work closely with an experienced marketing team while building your own pipeline through proactive business development
Build long-term customer relationships and identify opportunities for sustainable growth
Develop new accounts and become a key point of contact for customers
Play a key role in an exciting period of expansion, with significant opportunities to make your mark within the business
Requirements
Proven track record in Business Development, Area Sales or Technical Sales
A genuine hunter mentality with a passion for winning new business
Packaging industry experience would be highly desirable, or experience within a similar B2B industry
Candidates who understand the Food, Industrial, chemical, furniture and other related markets are highly desirable
Strong commercial awareness with excellent relationship-building skills
Self-motivated, driven and comfortable managing your own territory
