Overview:

First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic business who are looking to recruit an Electrical Fitter on a permanent basis due to growth located at their Dungannon (Northern Ireland) location.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assemble a variety of different components in the finishing end of production according to customer specification.
Quality check your own work and that of colleagues.
Experience using hand, air and electric tools to complete tasks.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
Liaise with Supervisors, Managers, and team members.
Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
Help maintain a safe and orderly work environment.
Any other duties as required by the production manager to suit business needs.
Adherence to ISO 9001 quality management system.
Adherence to company health and safety procedures.

Skills and Qualifications:

Experience in fitting, assembly, manufacturing, engineering and mechanics.
Ideally you will have knowledge of mains AC and automotive DC electrical and hydraulic schematics and significant experience of electrical fault finding and diagnostics within a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of Ground Support Equipment would be advantageous as well as hydraulic pumps and valves.
Experience of handheld tools.
Ability to assemble consistently to a high standard.
Able to trouble shoot and solve problems.
A ‘can do’ attitude and ability to interact within a multifunctional team.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Highest level of integrity, honesty and trust.
Ability to work in an environment that is fluid with constantly changing priorities.
