We are currently recruiting for a PAT Tester / Van Driver to join our client based in West Bromwich on an ongoing basis.
This is a varied role, with approximately half of your working week spent in the shop carrying out PAT testing on returned electrical equipment, with the other half spent driving a company van to deliver and collect equipment.
The Role:
Carrying out PAT testing on returned electrical equipment
Checking equipment is safe and suitable for reuse
Delivering and collecting equipment using a company van
Loading and unloading the vehicle
Completing relevant paperwork and records
Providing a professional service to customers
Keeping the vehicle and work area clean and tidy
Requirements:
Full UK driving licence
Previous PAT testing experience is preferred, but training may be available for the right candidate
Good attention to detail
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Good customer service skills
Reliable and punctual
Physically capable of loading and unloading equipment
